Clara says . . .

Last night Adam went in to put Clara to bed. She had a book sitting on her bed that he picked up so he could pull the sheet back to put her under the covers. He tossed it on her bookshelf to free up his hands and Clara said, "Daddy don't throw my book! Do you have a bookshelf?" To this question Adam answered yes. And then she says, "Do you throw your books onto your bookshelf?"

I don't know if this says something about how we parent or that she is always going to reason her way out of trouble, either way we thought it was clever and really funny!
