On Christmas Eve we always go to Gammy and Papa's house (my mom's parents). That's when we have our big dinner - YUMMY!! We also read the christmas story and open some presents. I did remember my camera, but neglected to make sure it had a memory card in it, lame I know. I also give the kids christmas pj's to open on Christmas Eve.
Christmas morning was so fun. Watching Ian and Clara interact while opening presents was cute. We took our time, the kids aren't really old enough to rip through presents in 5 minutes. In fact Ian's first present, a basketball hoop from Santa, we stopped to put together before we opened any more. Ian had a lot of fun helping Adam use tools to put it together. And Clara got her Barbie Musketeer doll that she wanted!
Then we all went over to my brother Paul's house for Christmas morning breakfast and yet more presents! It was really fun to get all together again- and Paul was an excellent host!
Finally we went home and ALL took a nap- that's a big deal because Clara doesn't take naps anymore . . .all the celebrating wore her out . . well, wore us all out!
