I put Clara in Time Out for something or other. And then I find this . . . Ian had brought her a couple of books from his bookshelf and they were reading together.
What a sweet moment~even if the rules of time out weren't being followed exactly.
I am struck by the beauty of this picture. All by itself it would have been enough, but to know the story behind it makes it even sweeter! You are such a good mom!
That is adorable! I love the bandaids on Ian's knees--it adds to the seetness of the picture I think. I love when the older one can read to the little one and he is truly listening. Sorry I didn't call you back yet. I knew you wouldn't be coming anyway with your cold, and to be honest, I just plain forgot. That isn't a good reason to not return your call, but it is the truth:) I hope you are feeling better. Maybe we can do something next week unless you feel he is too old now. I will call you. Thanks Lianne!
My family is my life. They are my greatest joy and yet sometimes just a little frustrating. But I am complete with them and am happy. This is my chance to share them with you!

This is a precious moment! It is a wonderful thing to behold as they grow up and still share their love for each other as adults too!
