Happy 1st Birthday Ian!

Ian turned 1 yesterday.  I can't believe it's already been a whole year since he came to us.  His first year has gone so much faster than Clara's first year!  We had a little family get together to celebrate.  As you can see, he had chocolate cake, and really enjoyed playing with it.  Although he didn't eat all that much of it.  I think he was still full from dinner.  I love my sweet little guy, I am so happy he is part of our family.

Little tidbits about Ian:

• Weighed in today at 18 lbs, 27 1/2 inches (about 10th percentile)
• A GREAT eater!  Loves, loves, loves to eat.  Surprising that he is so small.
• Sleeps through the night, goes to bad at 6p, still sleeping two naps at 9a and 1p.
• Energetic and FAST, into everything all the time. 
• Although he is so fast, he is really cautious about balance, hopefully he won't get too banged up when he does start walking, he is almost there.
• He has tender little feelings and is very shy when around faces he doesn't recognize.
• First word: Dada.  Adam is his favorite person, he is so happy when his Daddy gets home.
• Can sign More, All Done, and wave Hi.
• Loves to be outside but HATES swimming lessons, in fact the only time I get to really cuddle him is after a swim class.
• Likes music and dancing to it.
• Doesn't like to watch TV at all, well occasionally he'll watch a few minutes of The Wiggles.
• Really loves his big sister Clara, she is so great with him, he laughs and smiles at her all day.
